What is FAYS

FAYS is a first of its kind youth sports governing body. What makes FAYS (Federation for Advancing Youth Sports) unique? FAYS is created by former youth sports operators with the intention of implementing changes to improve the youth sports experience. Our mantra of IMPROVE, GOVERN, AND GROW is rooted in our decades of involvement within the youth sports landscape.

We know firsthand both the good and the flaws in youth sports. We want to do all that we can to celebrate and amplify the good people and good practices that currently exist. Simultaneously, we recognize the flaws that exist in youth sports today. We want to make it better and believe that we have the blueprint to do so.

With our background and experience, we know that running a youth sports organization is hard work, takes a great sacrifice, and involves loving the game and the kids you serve. While youth sports in many cases are run by small businesses, it certainly is not “all about the money” in most cases. Running a youth sports organization is hard and FAYS hopes to walk alongside operators and be a support system for their mission.

We recognize that we have an uphill battle ahead of us, but we truly believe that youth sports are inherently good. FAYS is committed to improving the game.
